Archery at Ramah, led by Sheri Dresner

We are excited to launch a new archery chug (elective) this summer at Ramah Day Camp! Archery will be available to all of our edot and will be led by instructor Sheri Dresner.

Sheri Dresner is a certified archery instructor in the state of Maryland who  has been working with children in Jewish education and camp for the last 16 years. She just finished her 12th year teaching Pre-K at B’nai Israel Congregation in Rockville and was previously teaching at Kehilat Shalom in Gaithersburg. Sheri emphasizes safety first and also teaching proper form while making the archery experience enjoyable and fun. Sheri’s hobbies include cooking, traveling, and working part-time as a personal trainer. She has two daughters, ages 20 and 17. She is excited to be part of the Camp Ramah family this summer!

Look out for archery in our chug registration, opening next week for first session campers and later in the summer for second and third session campers.

The archery program has been brought to Ramah Day Camp by the generosity of our Suggested Annual Donation campaign supported by our 2017 camper families.
