Garinim Week 1 Recap

Garinim had a blast starting the summer off at Ramah. Chanichim (campers) created new friendships, reconnected with old staff, and spent lots of time getting to know their new kvutzah (group) members. Starbucks, Starry, and Starfruit are certainly reaching for the stars.

Garinim is doing fantastic at the Breicha (pool) and many swimmers passed their deep water swim test! They got to enjoy activities such as Har Ramah (climbing tower), Bishul (cooking), Rikud (dance), and Chetz v’Keshet (archery). Chanichim have been speaking highly about their Chugim (special activities), and “Edible Weather” seems to be a Garinim favorite. Chanichim explored activities including tennis/ baseball, jewelry making, crochet and knitting, Israeli adventure, farm, and chess club.

At the end of the week, Garinim celebrated Yom Galaxy, where Chanichim participated in a space cadet challenge, moon bounce, and eat space snacks. Garinim ended the week with a meaningful and ruach filled Shira b’Bhishi (Shabbat songs). We can’t wait to see Garinim sparkle this summer!
