RAMAH L’KULAM –
RAMAH FOR ALL, RAMAH FOR THE FUTURE!
Dear Ramah New England Community,
Camp Ramah New England in Palmer is a special place for our family. Ramah is my kids’ happy place — a place where they feel like they are at home, surrounded by loving friends who are like siblings to them.
My children have made close friends who supported them when they faced hard times, and they’ve learned to reciprocate — that’s what family members do for each other. These bonds grew stronger during the pandemic; what a thrill to see the excitement when they were back with their camp friends!
When the Ramah overnight camp in Palmer and day camp in Germantown, Maryland reopened, almost 1,500 young campers and staff members, including my children, experienced a rejuvenating escape from their long months of physical isolation. With a close-to-normal experience, joyous Jewish living returned to Ramah.
Now that Ramah is back, you can help build Ramah for the future. Many of our children’s Jewish experiences were paused by the pandemic. You can help reinvigorate the Ramah experience to deepen campers’ confidence, independence, and love of being Jewish.
- Let’s build Ramah for the future to provide $700,000 in scholarship funds for 300 campers and support the 100 campers who depend on the Tikvah Program.
- Let’s build Ramah for the future to boost campers’ understanding of Israel, empower their spiritual exploration, and spread the joy of Shabbat.
- Let’s build Ramah for the future to instill confidence through outdoor experiences, sports and the arts.
- Let’s build Ramah for the future to ensure that Ramah can keep everyone COVID-safe.
I would be grateful if you would would consider making a gift to Ramah New England. You can help ensure a strong future for Ramah, and a strong future for our children.
