Give Now – Ramah L’Kulam
Dear Ramah Day Camp Greater DC Community,
Over a decade ago, a dream took root: to bring the overnight magic of Camp Ramah New England to children in the Greater DC area who might never have experienced it otherwise. 11 years later, 400 children this summer, built meaningful Jewish community, learned new skills, and developed new friendships.
Yet the true cost of these life-changing moments goes far beyond tuition. Each year, we work to open our gates wider, so no child is left outside because of financial hardship. The recent waves of federal layoffs have underscored a painful truth: access should never depend on circumstance. That’s why we lean on the Ramah Day Camp Greater DC family—families, friends, and supporters—to help us bridge the gap between possibility and participation. Your generosity directly fuels a child’s summer: a space to laugh, to belong, to explore their heritage, and to build memories that endure far beyond August.
Our program is a living invitation to experience Judaism through the vibrant arts, active movement, and a rich Hebrew environment, including a Hebrew immersion option. We are deeply committed to inclusivity and care, offering a 1:1 camper/staff option when needed to ensure every child feels seen and supported. Each summer, 90 teens and young adults take their own Jewish journeys by serving as madrichim and senior staff, guiding younger campers and discovering their own paths along the way.
Please join us with a gift today. Your support helps guarantee that every child who longs to be a part of Camp Ramah New England’s Greater DC community can come, belong, and grow—creating a future built on friendship, heritage, and hope.
With your generous gift, campers will receive the scholarships they need and experience a summer of joyous Judaism.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Todah Rabbah!
