Give Now – Ramah L’Kulam

Dear Ramah Day Camp Greater DC Community,

Over ten years ago, we set out on a heartfelt mission: to bring the magic of Camp Ramah New England’s overnight experience to the children of the Greater DC area, many of whom might never have the chance to attend otherwise. What began as a small one-week pilot has grown into a vibrant seven-week day camp, touching the lives of over 400 children this summer alone.

However, the true cost of providing these enriching, life-changing experiences far exceeds what tuition alone can cover. Every year, we strive to open our doors wider, ensuring that no child is turned away due to financial hardship. This is even more crucial due to the recent Federal Government Layoffs. That’s why we turn to our Ramah Day Camp Greater DC family—families, friends, and supporters—to help us make this possible. Your generosity will directly impact a child’s summer—giving them the chance to build friendships, discover their heritage, and create memories that last a lifetime.

We are proud to offer a program where campers and young adult staff members can live and learn Judaism through the arts, physical activity, and a comprehensive Hebrew environment, including a Hebrew immersion option. Our inclusive camp setting provides a supportive environment, including an integrated 1:1 camper/staff option when needed. We also deliver unique life-changing experiences for the 90 teens and young adults who continue their own Jewish journeys by serving as madrichim (counselors) and in senior staff positions

Please consider making a gift today and help us continue this incredible journey of growth, community, and hope.
