2026 Welcome Letter from Director Rabbi Jill Levy
Shalom Families,
We are beyond excited to welcome your child to our vibrant and joyful community. This summer promises to be filled with new adventures, lasting friendships, and meaningful Jewish memories.
Thank you for choosing Ramah for your child’s summer experience! With so many new and returning faces joining us, we’re even more energized to create a summer that’s nothing short of amazing.
At Ramah, we’re passionate about cultivating an environment where every camper feels safe, happy, and excited to return each day. Our warm, inclusive atmosphere encourages campers to build meaningful friendships, explore new skills, and discover their passions, all while deepening their connection to Jewish life.
Our 2026 summer theme is Kulanu Kochavim B’Machane Ramah. (Everyone is a star at Camp Ramah!)
At Ramah, campers and staff alike discover and express both new and familiar talents, blending what they love with meaningful Jewish traditions. We’re proud of our innovative programming that helps our community thrive, regardless of background.
This summer, your child will have the opportunity to explore and engage in:
- Jewish Living: From song and dance to community celebrations and meaningful prayer experiences, we make Jewish values come to life in fun, age-appropriate ways.
- The Arts and Outdoor Education: Whether it’s creating something amazing in the arts, feeding our chickens and goats, or planting vegetables in the garden, our campers have countless opportunities to grow their creativity and skills.
- EXPANDED LITTLE BIG IDEA Camp: Now in year three, BIG IDEA continues to grow and thrive. Last year, we launched “Little Big Idea” for our youngest campers, ages 5-6. This year, we have added an additional session for those campers to participate in this program. We are thrilled to offer BIG IDEA for 6 weeks total this summer for campers entering K through 7th grades.
- Personalized care for every child: If this is your child’s first summer with us, one of our senior staff members will reach out to connect and discuss how we can make their camp experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Knowing more about your child before summer begins helps us ensure they feel comfortable and set up for success from the start.
We’re Here for You!
Sharon Rosenberg Safra, our Associate Director, and I want to remind you that we’re always available to talk. We are both actively involved in camper life throughout the summer, working closely with our division heads (Rashei Edot) and camper care specialists (Yoetzim). If you have any questions or concerns about your child, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to support you every step of the way.
What’s Next?
We need your help! Parents of enrolled campers have all received instructions on how and when to submit your necessary camp forms. These forms are essential to ensure that we have all the details we need to create a personalized experience for your child. We ask that you complete them promptly and thoroughly, so we can make sure your camper has everything they need for an incredible summer.
Thank you for being a part of the Ramah family! We can’t wait to spend an amazing summer with your child, filled with fun, laughter, and new experiences.
B’vrachah,
Rabbi Jill Levy
