Anafim Week 1 Recap

Anafim had an incredible first week full of ruach (spirit), learning, and so much fun! After a rainy Tuesday kept us out of the breicha (pool), our chanichim (campers) were so excited to get back in the water. They practiced blowing bubbles, gliding with kickboards and pool noodles, and capping off the week with their very first free swim on Friday. The smiles said it all!

During chuggim (special activities), chanichim got to explore a range of activities, from cooking outdoors and learning to cook in Hebrew, to designing with a CriCut machine in Omanut (art), going on Teva (nature) walks, and playing sports. Each chanich brought their own creativity and enthusiasm to every activity!

Tefillah (prayer) this week was truly special, with chanichim dancing and singing alongside our songleader Miriam. In Yahadut (Jewish learning), our specialists guided chanichim in exploring their relationship with God through the natural world around them, turning a simple nature walk into a moment of wonder and meaning.

We can’t wait for another great week in Anafim!
