Big Idea Week 2 Recap

What a last week of session A it was! Our chanichim (campers) kept busy making and finishing projects across all four of our Big Idea subjects. In 3D modeling with Ofek and Liad, campers designed creations that came to life in the 3D printer. Video editing and production with Ben and Sydney had campers producing videos we all got to watch on the big screen. (Those will be available for parents and campers to watch at home soon 🙂 In escape rooms with Sydney and Liad, campers built tricky challenges for other groups to solve. In game design with Ofek and Ben, campers created games that their friends actually got to play. The older chanichim participated in “The Great Boat Float”, where they engineered plastic boats that successfully floated them in the pond!

Show and tell was a highlight of the week, with campers proudly sharing their escape rooms, games, and 3D creations with each other. During unplugged time, we moved Gaga indoors to beat the heat and rounded things out with arts and crafts and table games. On the last day of the session, every chanich (camper) received a certificate for their accomplishments and had the chance to share their favorite creations from the session.

We are so proud of everything these campers built, solved, and created this session, and we can’t wait to see what they create next session!
