Etzim Week 5 Recap

Etzim had a wonderful week! This was the first week of a new session, and we welcomed new friends on Monday! During z’man migvan (small group time), campers enjoyed mada (science), lighting up minds with science and wonder. They also dove into farm (chava), learning to take care of goats and chickens.

On Thursday, we had a special schedule for Tisha B’Av. We did many different activities, inspired by our theme of Inside Out, exploring our full range of emotions. A special highlight was going to Big Idea to do an escape room, where the chanichim (campers) used teamwork to solve puzzles related to feelings.

Swim was a bright spot this week as well, with many of our chanichim moving up a level, showing how hard they work all week long. We even had campers earn meah milim (100 words) for using Hebrew all around camp!

We are so excited to continue to see Etzim grow next week!
