Introducing: The Ramah Garden

We are excited to announce one of our new chugim for this summer: the Ramah Garden, a permaculture experience at Camp Ramah. The Garden will be available for small-group chug selection and for edah programming throughout the summer, and we are excited to feature the garden and our outdoor educators, Ifshin Gardens, at our first Family Night on Thursday, July 6.

The Ifshin Gardens team, led by Jake Ifshin, is excited to be partnering with Camp Ramah to help deepen the connection between the camp and the beautiful garden and land of the Wellspring Conference Center.   They are a group of five gardeners, naturalists, artists and educators who have come together to connect communities to nature through gardening, wilderness and regenerative programs.  Their clients include Discovery Communications, Senior Lifestyle Corporation, and several private Jewish schools.

Ifshin Gardens will be visiting Camp Ramah every week to offer hands on learning for staff and campers with the intention of equipping  everybody with a framework  to explore and work with plants and the earth.
