Meet Rosh Shorashim – Rozzie Eppsteiner!

Hi! My name is Rozzie, and I am so excited to be Rosh Shorashim for the third year! I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2016 where I studied Early Childhood Education. Before college I was a participant on the Nativ Program in Israel. Now I am a kindergarten teacher in Northeast DC, but my favorite job is working at Camp Ramah! I have loved working with Shorashim since camp first opened in 2015. I especially love that even our youngest hanichim (campers) get to choose three chugim (electives) to explore. I am excited for swim lessons, singing and dancing in the zimkudiyah, and our brand new Hebrew program special to Shorashim.
