Nitzanim Week 6 Recap

This penultimate week of machaneh (camp), our Nitzanim chanichim (campers) stepped up to guide Yom Sport across Ramah! We spent Tuesday’s “Yom Nitzanim” learning our Yom Sport teams, making team shirts and posters, and creating team cheers. Everyone was so into it! Their excitement only grew as the week went on, showing up in their enthusiasm for every activity. This week brought frisbee, time with our goats and chickens at the Chava, bishul (cooking), teva (nature) walks, and even watching hummingbirds in our garden!

Friday brought Yom Sport, and an amazing opportunity for our Nitzanim chanichim to shine. They led their color teams in cheers, sports, games, and rikud (dance), encouraging sportsmanship and perseverance in even our youngest edot (groups). What wonderful leaders they’ve become! We will miss those who are leaving, enjoy the rest of your summer, and we look forward to an amazing week seven for everyone else. Shabbat shalom!
