Ramah Ba’Bayit

Ramah Day Camp of Greater Washington, DC and Camp Ramah in New England are excited to bring you Ramah Ba’Bayit (Ramah at Home) – our programmatic initiative to bring the ruach of Ramah into the homes of our extended Ramah kehillah (community).  Click here for our detailed announcement e-mail!

MY RAMAH MADRICH

We have created a platform for families to use in order to connect to Ramah counselors looking to be hired for childcare work this summer, either in-person or remotely. If you are interested, please contact Emma Neusner and she will send you the link to access this web-page, where you will be able to see counselors’ contact information and their answers to a short questionnaire.

Based on availability, transportation, and experience, you will be able select counselor candidates with whom you would like to schedule an interview. You can then independently hire whichever available candidate(s) you chose. Any job offers and salary arrangements will be negotiated directly between you and the counselor. Camp Ramah New England is not responsible for hiring decisions, ensuring payments, overseeing the counselors’ work, or other logistics. We are solely the platform for helping to make these connections.

Zoom Guidelines:

As we take steps to make our programmatic offerings virtual, we ask that you help us make the experience as user-friendly as possible. Through the Zoom webinar application, we will mute participants in order to reduce feedback and background noise, and provide the highest level experience. Please use the chat or hand raise function if you want to chime in or have a question.

For safety and security, we are asking families to register for our free online programs.  Again, if you have not yet registered your child and would like to do so, please email Pamela Kekst.  Additionally, we do take pictures and record this programming. If you would not like your image used by RDC/CRNE, please do not turn on your video camera. We look forward to Zooming with you! If you do not yet have the app, please visit Zoom.us to download.
