Shorashim Week 4 Recap

Shorashim had an unforgettable week full of growth, laughter, and machaneh (camp) magic! In tefillah (prayer), our chanichim (campers) practiced Mah Rabu and are growing more confident with the daily prayers. In the breicha (pool), our chanichim have been working hard across four different levels, building confidence and skills in the water.

During z’man migvan (small group time), Shorashim explored teva (nature), mada (science), omanut (art), lawn games, and sports. Our chanichim also got to try out a range of fun chuggim (choice activities), including clay creations, rhythm and ruach (spirit), inventors workshop, earth explorers, flag football, and kickball.

On Thursday, we had an amazing time at Discovery Station, where our chanichim got to play pretend in all sorts of imaginative spots, from a rainforest to a fire station, a grocery store, and even a space room!

It was such a joy meeting all the families at Mishpacha B’Ramah (family night) over the last two weeks. It was a very a special way to bring our camp community together!

As the week wrapped up, we said a fond goodbye to a few chanichim and madrichim (counselors), but we can’t wait for another great session of camp ahead!
