Shorashim Week 6 Recap
Shorashim had a fantastic week full of variety and fun! During chugim (choice activities), our chanichim (campers) explored kador af (volleyball), outdoor exploring, clay creations and Israeli sketching, Gaga and lawn games, ultimate frisbee, and bishul (cooking). Each chanich (camper) got to try something new and show off their own creativity, whether they were shaping clay, tossing a frisbee, or cooking up something delicious in bishul.
In z’man migvan (small group time), Shorashim kept the momentum going with bishul, teva (nature), lawn games, mada (science), Gaga, and Har Ramah (our climbing wall). It’s been wonderful watching our chanichim build confidence as they try new activities and cheer each other on with so much energy along the way.
Our tefillah (prayer) skills also grew this week! We learned niggun tefillah (prayer melodies) and used our tefillah posters to help us connect even more with our davening.
And of course, we can’t forget Yom Sport, which was an absolute blast for the whole group! With all this excitement, Shorashim is ready and pumped for an amazing final week at machaneh (camp)!
