Shorashim Week 7 Recap
Shorashim closed out the summer with a week full of heart, energy, and so much love for one another! Our chanichim (campers) joined Nitzanim (oldest campers) for a special tefillah (prayer) session, and they also got creative with an exercise tefillah and even a backwards tefillah, growing our prayer skills.
During chuggim (choice activities), Shorashim explored a wonderful mix of interests including tennis baseball, chetz v’keshet (archery), bishul (cooking), a jewelry making week, an omanut (art) choice week, and cheer club. Each chanich (camper) brought their own spark to every activity, trying new things and building confidence along the way.
In z’man migvan (small group time), the fun continued with chava (farm), omanut, Har Ramah (climbing wall), and rikud (Israeli dance), giving our chanichim even more chances to explore camp favorites together as a kvutzah (group).
As the summer came to a close, Shorashim gathered for special kvutzah activities to say goodbye to one another, complete with a heartfelt wish you well song and plenty of joyful rikud dance parties to send everyone off with ruach (spirit).
What an incredible summer it has been. We can’t wait to see you next summer, Shorashim!
