Spotlight on Swimming

There’s nothing better than cooling off on a hot kayitz (summer) day in the b’reichah (pool)!  Schiyah (swimming) is a favorite among our hanichim (campers).  This summer, machane (camp) provides daily swimming, with instructional swim Monday-Thursday and games/fun on Friday.

We are once again happy to be partnering with Joe Flaherty’s Dolphins (JDF), to provide instructional swim at machane.  Madrichim (counselors) assist JDF coaches by providing extra support in the water.  The JDF program is comprised of nine skill levels, ranging from blowing bubbles to floating to stroke turns.  Hanichim progress through the levels as they master skills over the summer.
