Aftercare

Ramah Day Camp seeks to work with community partners to offer reliable aftercare options throughout the Greater DC area.  Campers registered for aftercare will ride a Ramah bus with our staff to the aftercare site.  Upon arrival, Ramah Day Camp madrichim will escort campers to their aftercare staff.

In prior summers, we have partnered with MoEd who run their program at Ohr Kodesh Congregation in Chevy Chase.  If you are aware of another partner agency in the Greater DC area who might be interested in working with Ramah to offer an additional aftercare option, please contact Sharon Rosenberg Safra, Associate Director.

Details for aftercare in 2024 are not available at this time.  Below is information from our 2023 season which may be helpful to you in the meantime.

Aftercare during Kayitz 2023

An aftercare option through MoEd will be offered once again in 2023.  MoEd is an independently operated provider and runs out of Ohr Kodesh Congregation in Chevy Chase, MD.  MoEd operates an independent camp program during most of the summer (through Friday, August 4) and will accommodate Ramah campers for the final hours of the day.  (Aftercare will not be offered the week of August 7-11.)

Parents planning to use MoEd for aftercare should designate their interest in the Travel and Aftercare Selection form, available through our CampMinder online system. An additional brief but separate registration form is required by MoEd.  The weekly fee of $80 per camper should be paid directly to MoEd as well.  For questions or details, please contact their administrator Shiran.
