Dates & Rates

The Kayitz 2022 (Summer 2022) season opens on Monday, June 27 and closes on Friday, August 12.  In 2022, we will offer three two-week sessions and a final add-on week.  (Session dates appear in the table below.)  In order to build community and maintain our high camper care standards, we ask families to register for a 2-week session* or any combination of sessions. Of course, we love when families take advantage of our full summer discount and enroll their child(ren) for all 7 weeks!

Our Sha’ar Hebrew immersion program, however, is a seven-week program for campers currently in Pre-K (PK4) through 2nd grade since consistency is the foundation of an immersion experience.  Sha’ar for campers in our oldest edah (division) – those currently in 3rd and 4th grades – will feature a four-week program. More information about the Sha’ar Hebrew immersion program can be found here.

Our camp program is open to current Pre-K (PK4) through 4th grade students.  Bus transportation from centralized locations in the area is included in camp fees.

We realize how difficult it is to plan for summer during continued COVID uncertainty. We will communicate our protocols as we get closer to the summer. For our Kayitz 2021 COVID protocols, please refer to our 2021 Covid Updates webpage.

Please contact us if you have any questions about your summer dates.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available, and we do all that we can to make it possible for everyone to experience a summer at Ramah. Applications for financial aid are made available in your CampMinder account (in the “Forms & Documents” portal) once you complete your camper application. Scholarships applications are now being reviewed on a rolling basis.  If you have questions about the financial aid process, please contact Sharon Rosenberg Safra, Assistant Director.

Registration Deposit, Fees & Payment Plans

A deposit of $100 per week enrolled (minimum $200) is due at the time of registration.  By March 15, camp families are required to pay 50% of their tuition fees or arrange a payment plan with our Finance Office.  Full payment is due by May 15 (for families not on a payment plan).

Cancellation Policy

We know that plans change. We also need to plan in order to serve all of our campers. Unfortunately that means we have to have a cancellation policy. We must have notification in writing if you need to withdraw your child before the start of camp. Below is our schedule of tuition refunds and fees:

Cancellation Date Cancellation Fee
On or before December 31 Full refund (no penalty)
January 1 - March 15 15% of tuition
March 16 - May 15 50% of tuition
