KAYITZ 2024 INFORMATION

The Kayitz (summer) 2024 season will open on Monday, June 24 and close on Friday, August 9.  In 2024, our general camp program will run for three two-week sessions and a final one-week session.  (Session dates appear in the table below.)  Families may register their child(ren) for a single session or any combination of sessions. Of course, we love when families take advantage of our full summer discount and enroll their child(ren) for all 7 weeks!  This program is open to current Pre-K (PK4) through 4th grade students.

Our Sha’ar Hebrew immersion program, however, is a seven-week program for campers currently in Pre-K (PK4) through 1st grade since consistency is the foundation of an immersion experience.  More information about the Sha’ar Hebrew immersion program can be found here.

NEW in 2024: We will be offering a technology-based program through The Big Idea for campers currently in 4th – 7th grades.  The Big Idea at Ramah Day Camp will run for two two-week sessions (session dates below).  Campers may attend for one or both sessions.  More information will be available soon about this new and exciting camp option!

Bus transportation from centralized locations in the area is included in camp fees.

Please contact us if you have any questions about your summer dates.

Enrollment Availability

Many of our edot (age groups) are now full in specific sessions – see details below.  If a session you want is full, it will be indicated when you register your child and will automatically place you on the wait list.  No deposit will be charged for a child on the wait list. Families will be notified by email if a spot becomes open for their child(ren).

At this time^, we are full with a waitlist for:

  • Children currently in Pre-K (PK4) for Sessions A, B* & C and Sha’ar Hebrew Immersion
  • Children currently in Kindergarten for Sessions A*, B*, C*, Week 7* and Sha’ar Hebrew Immersion*
  • Children currently in 1st grade for Sessions A, B* & C* and Sha’ar Hebrew Immersion
  • Children currently in 2nd grade for Sessions B & C

We are currently accepting applications for campers currently in grades 3-4 for our general camp program and those currently in grades 4-7 for our BIG IDEA camp program.  To register your child for an available session and/or add them to the waitlist, please submit an application.  Again, families will not be charged a deposit if their child is on the waitlist.

[*- These sessions have longer waitlists. ^-Last updated on February 27, 2024.]
